Jessica Forbes, MA, LPC
Associate Therapist

jessica@ruachrestoration.com

Jessica’s passion as a therapist is to walk alongside individuals seeking restoration and healing – a passion that began years ago when she served on a brothel outreach team, supporting women who were exploited and had survived trafficking. Bearing witness to their courage and resilience shaped her desire to create spaces where people feel deeply seen, supported, and empowered.

Jessica’s goal is to help clients discover their inherent strengths and pursue healing in a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment. She honors each client’s uniqueness and integrates research-informed approaches and best practices to provide treatment that fits the whole person. She believes mental wellness is a vital part of our overall health and wholeness, and she strives to help clients build lives that reflect that balance and well-being.

Jessica is an Associate Therapist who works primarily with adolescents ages 12 and up, as well as adults, in individual counseling. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in 2025, after completing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Georgia in 2003.

Before entering the counseling field, Jessica served as a Project Coordinator at the University of Georgia’s Institute on Human Development and Disability, where she supported statewide grants serving individuals with disabilities. She later spent ten years overseas in Prague, Czech Republic, with Serge, contributing to a church-planting team through relational ministry, mentoring, and leading both the women’s ministry and the music ministry.

Jessica considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients in their stories and to support them as they move toward hope, clarity, and restoration.
