Mary Beth Cole, BA, LMSW
Mary Beth Cole has over a decade of experience serving Georgia families and college students. Her career highlights include residential care for foster children, hospice, long term elder care, and her most cherished role in family preservation. During this time she was chosen by her colleagues and foster families as Case Manager of the Year and honored with the Cobb County Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Service to Georgia families and children. Transitioning from case management to the private sector, Mary Beth mentored collegiate women at the University of Georgia while providing lay counseling to couples in crisis within the Church.
This culmination of years and breadth of experience has allowed her to sharpen her skills in identifying relational and emotional patterns. This helps her identify connections between underlying emotions (root issues) and behaviors. She has a warm and collaborative approach and works to provide a safe emotional space where healing can occur. Rather than utilizing a single system of intervention, her psychodynamic work is eclectic depending on the needs of the client. Her professional interests and continued learning center around IFS, Solution Focused Therapy, as well as DBT & CBT especially as it relates to ADHD support. Mary Beth currently sees women aged seventeen and up while also providing premarital and couples counseling. She is easily reached at [email protected].
