Jessica Forbes, BS
Graduate Intern

[email protected]

Jessica is a graduate-level intern working towards a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. She is anticipated to graduate in May of 2025. Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia in 2003. She worked at the University of Georgia’s Institute on Human Development and Disability as the Project Coordinator for grants, assisting people with disabilities all over Georgia. Jessica then spent 10 years overseas in Prague, CZ, with Serge, as part of a church planting team engaging in relational ministry, mentoring, and directing the church’s women’s ministry and music.

Jessica’s passion, coming alongside others seeking restoration and healing, began as she served on a brothel outreach team, working with and supporting women who were either leaving the sex industry or formerly trafficked. She is now pursuing that same passion in the therapy room. Jessica’s goal is to empower clients to discover their strengths and healing in a safe and non-judgmental environment. She appreciates each client’s uniqueness while integrating aspects of research and best practices for the best treatment of her clients. Jessica values the importance of mental wellness as it is an important part of our overall healing and wholeness. Jessica primarily works with adolescents and adults in an individual or family counseling format.
