I believe we were all made for more.

And sometimes it is helpful to have someone walk intentionally alongside us to get there. If you find yourself stuck and ready to move forward, but unsure how, let’s dream for the future as we walk towards freedom together. Sometimes it is a return to parts of who you were before, and sometimes it is moving forward to who you dare to hope you might become. I believe change and healing comes primarily through a trusted relationship, with a willingness for authenticity.

If you want to get free, let’s get free.

Lora holds a Masters in Education from the University of Georgia in Professional Counseling with an Emphasis in School Counseling. She has served students in Athens and local families for the past decade through mentoring college-aged women and counseling high school students. While Lora has experience with children and adults of all ages, she has particular experience in working with Gen Z clients in therapy and walking emerging adults through the transition that stage of life holds.

Lora counsels from a psychoanalytic foundation, with her work heavily informed through: early childhood and adolescent experiences, root causes of behavior, and unconscious motivation. She frequently uses Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Internal Family Systems as tools in the counseling room. However, she integrates other techniques and strategies through individual therapy, in partnership with the client.
